Ingredients

1 kg of ground beef
2 eggs
1 onion (grated)
2 cloves of garlic, minced
1 tsp of salt
1 tsp of black pepper
1 tsp of paprika
Fresh parsley, chopped to taste
250 g of spinach (fresh or frozen, well drained)
200 g of fresh mushrooms, chopped
200 g of grated mozzarella or parmesan cheese
4 tbsp of soy sauce
2 tbsp of tomato sauce
1 tsp of mustard
1 tbsp of honey
For the salad (optional)
1 cucumber
1 tomato
50 g of walnuts
2 cloves of garlic, minced
1 tbsp of honey
A splash of olive oil

Preparation

Prepare the meat mixture: In a large bowl, mix the ground beef, eggs, grated onion, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, paprika, paprika and parsley. Knead well until all the ingredients are combined.
Filling the roll: On a sheet of cling film, spread the meat mixture into a rectangle. Cover with a layer of well-drained spinach, chopped mushrooms and grated cheese.
Roll: Using the cling film, carefully roll the meat from one end into a firm cylinder. Remove the cling film and secure the roll with kitchen string.
Sauce and cooking: Mix the soy sauce, tomato sauce, mustard and honey in a small bowl. Spread the surface of the roll with this mixture. Place the roll in a baking dish and bake at 180° C for 45-60 minutes, occasionally basting it with any sauce that has dripped into the dish.
