How to Make Poppy Seed Cheddar Bread

Ingredients:

– 200 ml of milk
– 200 ml of water
– 100 ml of vegetable oil
– 40 g of sugar
– 10 g dry yeast
– 600 g of flour
– 8 g of salt
– 1 egg yolk
– 100 g of butter
– 100g grated cheddar cheese
– Poppy seeds

Preparation method:

1. In a large bowl, combine the hot milk, warm water, vegetable oil, yeast, sugar, and egg white.

Stir well.
2. Add the flour and salt, mix and knead until a dough forms. Let it rest, covered with a plate.

3. Divide the dough into two parts, form two balls and cover one of them.

4. Roll out a ball with a rolling pin and spread the butter. Fold the dough again and form a square. Repeat the process with the other ball.

5. Open each noodle, add the grated cheddar cheese, roll up and cut into sections.

6. Place the sections on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, cover with a cloth and let rest for 20 minutes.

7. Brush the buns with egg yolk, decorate with poppy seeds and bake at 190 degrees for 20 minutes.

8. The cheese rolls are ready to be enjoyed.
