Garlic And Pepper Pork Ribs Recipe 🍖🥩
Ingredients:
2 pounds pork spare ribs
3 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons oyster sauce
1 tablespoon Shaoxing wine (or dry sherry)
1 tablespoon grated ginger
2 teaspoons ground black pepper
2 teaspoons sugar
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
3 tablespoons cornstarch
1/4 teaspoon white pepper powder
Oil for frying
1 head garlic,
2 green onions, sliced (optional)
Instructions:
Marinade:
In a large bowl, combine soy sauce, oyster sauce, Shaoxing wine, ginger, black pepper, sugar, and garlic powder.
Add the pork ribs and mix thoroughly to coat evenly.
Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, or overnight for best results.
Cooking:
Drain the ribs and discard the excess marinade.
In a small bowl, mix cornstarch and white pepper powder.
Add the cornstarch mixture to the ribs and toss until evenly coated.
Heat oil in a wok or deep fryer to 350°F (175°C).
Fry the ribs in batches for about 4-5 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
Remove the ribs and drain on paper towels.
In a separate pan, heat a small amount of oil over medium heat.
Add garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
Add fried ribs to the pan and toss to coat with garlic.
Garnish with dry herbs or green onions, if desired.
Serve:
Serve the ribs hot with steamed rice or your favorite sides.
