IF YOU HAVE 2 EGGS AND FLOUR, PREPARE THIS TASTY DESSERT!

INGREDIENTS NEEDED:

750 milliliters of water
10 grams of vanilla sugar
1 tablespoon of regular sugar
a pinch of salt
50 grams of butter
200 grams of flour
2 eggs
Med

METHOD OF PREPARATION:

First, in a medium-sized bowl, combine water with vanilla sugar, one teaspoon of regular sugar, a pinch of salt and butter.
Heat this mixture over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the butter is completely melted and the mixture is homogeneous.

This step is crucial to creating a liquid base that will allow the flour and other ingredients to absorb properly and form a smooth dough.

When the mixture is heated and all the ingredients are completely dissolved, it’s time to add the flour.
This must be done gradually, stirring constantly with a wooden spoon, to distribute the flour evenly and avoid lumps.

Stir until the mixture thickens and begins to separate from the sides of the bowl. When you reach this stage, you know the mixture is ready for the next step.

Remove the pan from the heat and let the mixture cool slightly. This is important to prevent the eggs from becoming cooked when added to the mixture.
After the mixture has cooled for a few minutes, add 2 eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.

Once you have added both eggs, the mixture should be smooth and completely combined.

This step allows the dough to have a richer texture and become elastic, which is essential for forming the strips that you will later fry.

Once the dough is ready, place it into a pastry bag with a wide tip.

If you don’t have a pastry bag, you can use a regular plastic bag and cut off one corner to create a similar effect.
Place oblong strips of dough on a baking sheet lined with baking paper, making sure that the strips are even.
If necessary, you can trim them neatly to achieve the desired shape and size.

Heat enough oil in a large frying pan over medium heat.
It is important that there is enough oil so that the strips can be fried in a shallow layer, so that they become crispy and evenly golden.
When the oil is hot enough, carefully place the dough strips in the pan, taking care not to come into direct contact with the hot oil immediately after placing the baking paper.

When the dough starts to shrink and form, you can carefully remove the baking paper.
Fry the strips of dough for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until they become nicely golden and crispy.
This step is very important because you don’t want the strips to be too soft or soggy, you want them to achieve the perfect crispy texture.
Remove the fried strips from the pan and place them on a paper towel to absorb excess oil.

When the strips have cooled for just a few minutes, drizzle them liberally with honey while still warm. The honey will soak nicely into the hot dough, making each strip sweet and flavorful.
Honey is a key ingredient as it adds a touch of sweetness that contrasts perfectly with the crunchy and slightly salty dough.

Serve immediately and enjoy a simple but extremely delicious dessert.
