– Ingredients:
2 cups of sugar
5 bananas
1 can of condensed milk
The same amount of milk
1 tablespoon of cornstarch
3 egg yolks
3 egg whites
6 tablespoons of sugar
– How to make:
Caramelize a baking dish with the 2 cups of sugar. Set aside. Heat the condensed milk, milk, strained egg yolks and cornstarch in a pan until it starts to boil. Let it cool.
Chop the bananas into diagonal pieces, about 1 cm thick. Arrange them in the baking dish, on top of the cold caramel, arranging them side by side. Pour the cream over the bananas.
Whip the egg whites until stiff and gradually add the 6 tablespoons of sugar. Make a layer over the condensed milk cream. Bake until the meringue turns golden. Serve cold.
