Ingredients for the savory corn cake recipe
1 cup (tea) of wheat flour
1 cup of cornstarch
1 cup of milk
¾ cup (tea) of oil
1 can of sweet corn without water
3 eggs
Grated parmesan cheese to taste
Salt to taste
Dehydrated seasonings to taste
1 tablespoon baking powder
Cooked and shredded chicken to taste
Tomatoes, hearts of palm and olives to taste
Green smell to taste
Preparation method
Place the corn without the water and milk in the blender and blend well until completely crushed. Add the eggs and oil and beat until smooth.
In a bowl, place the sifted wheat flour, cornstarch and yeast, add the mixture obtained in the blender and mix well with a whisk to incorporate.
Add the salt, dried seasoning, grated parmesan cheese, cooked and shredded chicken, chopped tomato, hearts of palm, olives and chives.
Mix everything very well to combine all the ingredients, and pour this mixture into a greased and floured round pan (22 cm in diameter).
Add chopped tomatoes, chives, chopped olives, grated parmesan cheese, and bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for about 40-45 minutes.
Remove from the oven and serve that succulent savory corn cake!
Tips and Variations:
For a more intense flavor, you can add pieces of bacon or calabrese sausage to the dough.
Try using different types of cheese to vary the flavor.
