Shrimp chow mein dish
Ingredients:
Chow mein noodles (or udon noodles as shown in the image)
Shrimp, peeled and deveined
Sausage, sliced
Green bell pepper, sliced
Garlic, minced
Soy sauce
Oyster sauce
Sesame oil
Sugar
Cornstarch
Vegetable oil
Instructions:
Boil the noodles: Cook the noodles according to package instructions. Drain and rinse with cold water to prevent sticking.
Prepare the sauce: In a small bowl, combine soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, sugar, and cornstarch. Mix well.
Stir-fry: Heat vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat. Add shrimp and cook until pink and opaque. Remove and set aside.
Add sausage and green bell pepper to the wok and stir-fry until softened.
Add minced garlic and cook for another 30 seconds, or until fragrant.
Combine: Add the cooked noodles to the wok and toss to combine with the vegetables.
Pour the sauce over the noodles and stir-fry until the noodles are evenly coated and the sauce has thickened.
Add the cooked shrimp back to the wok and toss to combine.
Serve immediately.
